SSC Stenographers (Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’) Exam 2017

The candaide SSC Stenographers (Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’) Exam 2017- It is an All India level open competitive exam organized by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for recruitment of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ ( Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted ) and Stenographer Grade ‘D’(Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted). The exam will be held on 27th August, 2017 and application form for the same can be obtained from 17th June, 2017.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria

The candidates will be considered for the selection procedure, those fulfill the eligibility norms as specified by the authority. Please check out below the minimum eligibility criteria required for appearing in SSC Stenographers (Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’) exam 2017:

• Candidates must fulfill the nationality criteria i.e. they should be a resident of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or Tibetan refugees came to India before the 1st January,1962 or PIO category individuals migrated from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.
• Age of candidates must lie in between 18-27 years as on 1st August 2017. There will be age relaxation according to norms of the Government.

How to Apply?

Interested and eligible individuals can submit their application either online from the official website or via post. Availability and deadline for submission of application form in online and offline mode will be updated to your after release of SSC Stenographers (Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’) exam 2017 official notification.

Application Fee- Rs. 100/- (Excluding SC/ST/Women/PwD/Ex-Servicemen category applicants)

Stenography Test

Aspirants who have obtained the minimum qualifying marks in the test are only called to attend the Stenography test. During the test, applicants will be provided one dictation for 10 minutes in Hindi/English. Speed of candidates should be 100 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for Stenographer Grade ‘D.

Admit Card

Staff Selection Commission will issue admit cards to candidates in online mode. All successfully registered candidates would be capable to obtain their admit card 15 days before the scheduled exam date. Result

You may expect your result in the month of March, 2018. SSC releases result of qualified candidates in pdf format at its official website i.e. http://ssconline.nic.in. Candidate will be able to view result by using his/her roll number.
