ICAR NDRI Ph.D. Entrance Exam Form 2017 ~ Admit Card|Results

The ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) has recently published the notification for admission to Diploma (Dairy Technology), Diploma (Animal Husbandry & Dairying) and Ph.D. Programme for the year 2017-18. ICAR NDRI Entrance Examination will be conducted in online mode on 28-5-2017 at five centres i.e. Karnal, Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kolkata.

Candidate applying for the Admissions in various Ph.D and Diploma programmes of ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal (Haryana) are required to apply online only through the official website of NDRI, Karnal. Candidates are required to click on the link ‘Apply Online. Application will not be accepted by any other mode. Educational Details:

For Ph.D:

Candidates having Degree in relevant discipline with 50% aggregate marks in recognized institute.

For Diploma (DT) & (AHD)
Applicants having passed 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Agriculture by General, OBC, and UPS categories and 40% for SC/ST, PH in the 12th Standard Examination.

Application Cost:

For Ph.D. Program:

General/OBC candidates: 1200/-.

SC/ST/PH candidates: 600/-.

For Diploma (DT) & (AHD)

Rs.800/- (For General/OBC)

Rs.400/- (For SC/ST/PH)

Age Limit:

Ph.D. Program: Minimum age limit shall be 21 years on or before 31st July 2017. Normally there will be no upper age limit.

For Diploma (DT) & (AHD): Applicant Minimum age limit shall be 17 years on or before 31st July 2017 and the maximum age limit shall be 23 years as on 31st July 2017. Maximum age limit for in-service candidates will be 45 years as on 31st July 2017.

Exam Pattern:

There will be the same question paper for all applicants based on Physics and Chemistry 12th Standard syllabus for 90 min duration and of 100 marks. Paper will be of objective type with multiple choice questions.

ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) will declare the Ph.D Entrance Test Result on 29th June, 2017 on the official web portal. The Merit list of the selected candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Ph.D  Entrance Test. Aspirants can check their entrance exam result by logging the official site. Based on merit list candidates will be given admission in the Ph.D. program in ICAR-NDRI, Kernal.

Reservation:

Reservation for SC, ST, OBC and PH:

Fifteen percent of total seats are reserved for bonafide applicants belonging to Scheduled Castes, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes, 27% seats for OBC, 3% for the Physically Handicapped subject to their being otherwise eligible. The reservation of seats amongst the SC/ST candidates depending upon the availability of such applicants. In case aspirants from Reserved Categories are not available, the same will be filled up from General Category.
