J & K High Court Recruitment 2017 – 279 Steno Typist & Jr Assistant Posts: High Court of Jammu & Kashmir has published notification for the recruitment of 279 Steno Typist & Junior Assistant vacancies in J&K Subordinate Judiciary. Eligible candidates may apply in prescribed application format on or before 15-06-2017 during office hours.

1. Steno Typist: 78 Posts
a. Kashmir Division: 48 Posts
b. Jammu Division: 30 Posts
2. Junior Assistant: 201 Posts
a. Kashmir Division: 134 Posts
b. Jammu Division: 67 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be below 18 years and maximum 40 years for Open Merit candidates, 42 years for SC/ ST/ RBA/ ALC/ OSC/ Physically Challenged candidates, 48 years for Ex-Servicemen & 40 years in case of candidates already in Government Service/ Contractual employees as on 01-01-2017.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Graduation or equivalent from any recognized University and Diploma in Shorthand with typing knowledge for Post No. 01 & Graduation from a recognized University and Six months certificate course in computer application for Post No. 02.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on test/ interview.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 200/- through demand draft in the name of Principal Secretary to Honble the Chief Justice, High Court of J&K drawn on any branch of Jammu & Kashmir Bank and payable at srinagar/ jammu.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their dully filled application in prescribed format with recent passport size photographs and attested photocopies of Date of Birth Certificate, Permanent Resident Certificate, Qualification Certificate, marks Certificates, Six months course in computer application certificate, Diploma certificate of shorthand and typing from recognized institute, Character Certificate and fee personally delivered in the office of Concerned Principal District and Sessions Judge on or before 15-06-2017 during office hours.
